Wireless Internet access is available throughout the Library to anyone who has the necessary devices and software, via a cable based network. Wireless Internet access is available to patrons of all ages. Wireless Internet access in the library is governed by the Library’s Code of Conduct and may be found in our Policies section.

All users are responsible for maintaining their own virus protection on their computers or wireless devices. The Free Public Library of Hasbrouck Heights cannot protect users of the network against malicious theft or interception of data transmitted over our network.


Public Computers

The Library has workstations and laptops available for patron use. All are equipped with the Windows System 10 operating system and Microsoft Office 2016. Patrons may use Library computers only upon presentation of his or her valid library card. Guest passes are available for patrons without BCCLS library cards and will be dispensed at the discretion of the staff.

Patrons are allowed up to an hour of computer access per day. Black and White printing is available from the workstations at a cost of fifteen (.15) cents per page. Staff is not permitted to handle money or make change. All monetary donations to the library are welcome!

Patrons are permitted to utilize flash drives or CDs and other peripherals only on computers designated for that purpose. The Library can provide flash drives for patrons for a fee.


Patrons are able to print documents from any of the workstations. The cost for printing is fifteen (.15) cents per page.

The Library has a patron-only designated photocopier that can print both in black and white, and in color. B&W copies are fifteen (.15) cents per page and full color are fifty (.50) cents. Patrons have the option to copy onto letter sized paper (8.5″x 11″) or legal size (8.5″ x 14″).

You can send your documents to our printing services from through your own personal computer or mobile device. The documents will be available for the next three hours for retrieval. Choose the following :


  • Click the link above to our Printer portal
  • Select either Black & White ($0.15 per page) or Color ($0.50 per page)
  • Enter your email address
  • Browse for the file you would like to print
  • NOTE: All files need to be in PDF format in order to be printed properly.
  • Hit the Green printing Icon

Mobile App

  • Download the “PrinterOn” Application (iOS & Android)
  • Find No Printer Selected and Tap here to Select a Printer
  • Tap Location and zoom in to Hasbrouck Heights
  • Select Hasbrouck Heights Public Library Main

You now have access to print documents (iCloud, Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.), photos, and webpages.

  • Select either Black & White ($0.15 per page) or Color ($0.50 per page)
  • Tap the Documents only. Other options will not be available to print! (NOTE: All files need to be in PDF format in order to be printed properly.)
  • Click Print to continue.
  • Enter your email address.

I just sent my print request. How do I get it?

Patrons can then come into the library and head to the Printing center. At the computer terminal, they will need to enter the email they used to send the document to retrieve the document and pay for it to be printed out.

We can only print out documents in their entirety and can not change the outcome. Users are urged to review all documents and make sure the correct materials are submitted.

After the three hour wait period, all printing requests will be cancelled. Staff will be unable to retrieve requests after that time.
